Silicone hose kit for SD4?

Hi All,

New member and my first post!

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm trying to find a full replacement silicone hose kit for my 2011 Sport LE with the SD4 engine. Do you know of where I can get my hands on one?

My car has recently developed an issue that causes a loss of power and revs when I stick my foot down and the turbo kicks in - sounds almost like a slipping noise, so I'm thinking there may be a split in one of the pipes downstream from the turbo somewhere (let me know if you think I'm wrong on this!) I dont have any warning lights on the dash or error messages and the car runs perfectly when I'm not using my heavy right foot Mr. Green
If I'm going to need a new hose, and was planning on smartening the engine bay up a bit, i thought i may aswell kill 2 birds with one stone and find a silicone hose kit, but I'm struggling!

Thanks in advance!

Rocket

I've just experienced the split in the top hose (rigid pipe to throttle body). I trawled Ebay (SD4 and TD4 are the same size)and eventually phoned up DPH, they do have an Ebay shop or take orders over the phone.

The hoses are made to order in a choice of colours, delivery from ordering was a couple of days. Good luck. Thumbs Up

2014 SD4 engine -

I would like to replace four of the hoses related to the intercooler/turbo with red silicone ones.

I can find the two that connect via the black plastic section on the front of the engine (several companies supply these) but not the turbo to intercooler hoses that connect via the steel tube under the engine.

DPH was mentioned above. They list both but the latter is "out of stock" and has been for some time.

i have tried contacting them on numerous occasions (both by phone and email) but can't get any response.

I want to get all four from the same manufacturer so the colour matches.

Does anyone know of another source for all four hoses?

If not I will have to go with just the two.

Thanks.

Original LR prices for the hose and metal pipework is horrendous. As you say DPL no longer supply the hoses. I bought a replacement from a scrappy on ebay. Or.............................

Why not just find black silicone hoses, it's not like they can be seen really. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
