Replacement car battery - confusion!

I need to replace my battery. The original is a Varta 6G9N -10655-RC. Its dimensions are 315L x 175W x 190H.

My car is a 2014 TD4 Auto. Using the enter reg search engine on Halfords, Tayna etc it comes up with a 278 x 175 x 190 recommendation.

Using the Varta website it comes up with an F19 silver dynamic 315 x 175 x 190.

Tayna come recommended on this forum so I emailed them and they suggested a Varta F18 which is 315 x 175 x 175.

I queried them about the height and they have now come back and recommended EA900 Exide Premium Car Battery 115TE which is 315 x 175 x 190.

So, any help from Forum members would be much appreciated!

Thank you for your reply. From the description, this is a stop start (i.e. more expensive) battery. Does your car assuming it is manual have the stop start feature?

The physical dimensions of your Varta are the same as my OEM battery. 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto

After more emails with Tayna and checking with Varta, this is where I am at:

The current Varta equivalent of my OEM battery is F18 "Blue Dynamic" 315 x 175 x 190

The preferred (better quality) replacement is F16 "Silver Dynamic" 315 x 175 x 190

I am fairly confident that the lower height (175) would fit; similarly the reduced length (278) which often comes up as a suggested replacement. But why take the chance? I think I'll order a battery which is the same physical size as the existing one.

Thanks to everyone for your replies. 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto

Surely it's more important to be thinking about the CCA rating of the replacement battery?

OK, so the Varta equivalents for my car were F16 Blue Dynamic or F19 Silver Dynamic. I ordered the F19 from Tayna, it arrived today and is now fitted and working. 85Ah, 800A.

The bolt/clamp which physically holds the battery in place within the battery compartment has more than one setting so a smaller (in length) battery which most of the fast fit places were offering would actually fit.

Hopefully that's it for the next 5 years! 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto
