have all 4x4 freelanders got the terrain response knob,just wondered as I was talking to a guy at a barbeque and he says his is 4x4 but no terrain response knob,i thought that meant its 2 wheel drive?never argued the point,find out on here first and then sound like im well informed

No knobs on the later models only the odd nob that owns one, it’s a press switch.  FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Much preferred the knob - could select the the functions without taking your eye off the road, whereas the buttons are harder to find when bouncing along a lane - a backward step IMO Jules
