I have a story about my fellow apprentice who ended up working for the Ford works team (he also as won the RAC rally as navigator a few times). 25 odd years ago he was in OZ testing the Focus and could not get it run correctly so dialled up Dagenham and said you do it and they did. Back then it was unheard of. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Yes, it did! Sorry I should have come back and explained. I was waiting for it to be more definite - then forgot ![]() It showed up as a faulty throttle solenoid giving occasional spurious readings. New one was about 35 quid and not much more to fit it. Since then it's been fine. We ended up getting a new haldex unit fitted to fix this problem in the end... cost around £500 as I recall |
