Re off road ability. There is no denying the fact that the FL2 is superb off road BUT how many folk on here would take their brand new 45 or 50 grand car on a LR experience off road course. Don't mind admitting it but I wouldn't. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Have no idea why the motoring media rave about the XC40, we looked at this recently and just found the interior to be low rent and plasticy. Is it just me??

Doesn’t seem any worse than what LR put out their factory for double the price. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Exactly plus the FL2 is an old model of car that was introduced over 10 years ago.

reasonable review and the T5 looks like an interesting car to own, may consider when changing my
XC60.

I wonder why Mat Watson and I seem be the only one's critical of the MASSIVE rear blind spots?

This is Volvo, a company that used to make a big selling point of the visibility/safety of narrow pillars..??..

To me it ain’t that big an issue.

I think if I was to move to Volvo I’d take the V90, looked at one before I bought the D5 as the pathetic dealer, who have since lost the franchise, didn’t have any XC90s in the showroom and no offer to look at the only used one they had. IMO it’s the best looking estate on the market, though not the biggest on the market and smaller boot wise than the V70 it replaced, something which Volvo have rectified with the new V60 which is the biggest in its class. Sorry I’ve been reading countless estate brochures Embarassed 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I ran 3 Phase 2 V70's on the trot - nice cars. The new V90 is a nice looking car, especially from the front, even if the car's not particularly practical. It's only the 60,000 mile warranty limitation that would rule out a Volvo for me Sad
