Really loving the look of this car..a refreshing Volvo and looks about the right size car for me too. Never really been drawn to a Volvo before but this one attracts me.

Anyone test driven one?

I like the look of the xc60 and 90. All Volvos have the same dashboard, the thing that puts me off of them is that everything is done on the touchscreen .. put the heating on , what direction the heat is going to . It’s all too much of a footer when driving.
No wonder the cars are great in a crash , you have to take your eyes off the road to turn anything on or off. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

Have owned six or seven different Volvos over the years - solid reliable cars
Will be looking at the XC range when I move the FL2 on No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Really nice looking car, speed up R Design with lots of it been standard options due to it been launched

Yup, like the XC40. There is a couple in my area, Inscription spec I think, look good. Definitely look at one to replace my problematic Velar. I won’t be touching another LR anytime soon. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Just had a quick look on the Volvo website.

Have to say I am rather impressed with the XC40 , never considered a Volvo before - you can even get a spare wheel (space saver). Does the X3 ?

Looks much more modern than the rather staid X3 IMO Jules

Just niggles that’s starting to take the shine off ownership, it’s booked back in for September to hopefully get them all sorted and I can start enjoying it again.

Interestingly my local dealer (Marshalls Peterboro) have one showroom building with LR at one end, Jag at the other and Volvo in the middle. You can actually walk between the sections. Presumably makes it easier to compare notes. Don't suppose you can play one off against the other though. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Just found out my dealer will be no more, will have to go to the new Pentland Jaguar Land Rover in Dundee. Though they say my one will be a service and used car centre, my salesman won’t be moving to the new one. I’m sure the XC40 has some positives, but that rear styling is somewhere between a car derived van and a 1974 Datsun Cherry

This is not a good look and it should not be encouraged.

The XC60 looks okay though

The XC40, is small, chunky, and reasonably priced. Everything LR should be offering but isn’t. I think Volvo is onto a winner. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
