"Perilous Journeys"

Just watched a program from a series on Discovery, called Perilous Journeys, about .....wait for it....wait for it.....perilous jorneys (by car).

Anyway, this evening the guy went to Africa, and travelled along a 300km mountain pass, rising to about 2500m high - in a Defender.

First of all the rear prop shaft broke, so he was down to front wheel drive only. Then the front drive shaft snapped - so he had to be towed..........by a Nissan !

That would be a lack of servicing, you have to get under the defender and grease the universal joints on the drive shafts otherwise they collapse. At work
