United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Firenze Red

Just yesterday I was spraying Waxoyl into my sills and under my wheel arches having first removed the sill covers and inner wheel arch liners. Lots of old trapped soil/ dried mud was removed first that can hold moisture.

Cars used to launch boats or next to the sea are going to fail of course far quicker but one hopes the above is not that common. Any ideas to why ? FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I knocked tons of crap out of my sills and under the arches on the rear doors it's a good idea to get the hose pipe behind the large rubber bit at the bottom too,as you did I Waxoyled after.

Update on my rust-problems, rust is coming back but in diffrent locations. Time for another treatment. Guess Freelander is made for desert roads, not salted winter ones. Overall the car looks good after 10 years and 180,000km.
