My 63 plate LR2 is ready for new boots on the front 3mm left,it has cover 30500 miles on Goodyear Wranglers on the front.

There are better tyres out there but if your happy with them stick with it but try and get the depth mm balanced front to back as its not a good idea to have large differences. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

If you had 30,000 out of Goodyear stick with them & if you have 7mm remaining on the rears put the new tyres on the front as a new tyre will have around 8mm |

Technically the new tyres should always go on the rear (lots of info about this on the internet) but as you have plenty of tread on the rears I think you'll be fine putting them on the front. As above, swap them over from time to time and even out the wear, so that you'll be able to buy four new ones next time (and keep the best of five as your spare). You'll notice a noise difference - Goodyears get very noisy at less than 4mm. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
