I think they pick the patient technicians to do this as the whole centre console has to come out and the hand brake dis-engaged. My hand brake was fab after the work was completed. Landrover Denmark says: disconnection performed on roughly 1 hours 20 minutes. They do not say how long the connection takes I believe that such a notice is worthless..................... We looked at the X-Trail before we bought the FL2, to be honest I am sure it is a fine car, but I would not want to be seen in it. The styling is just awful. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Very effecient at Stratstone Wolverhampton. Waited for Fl2 while they did the Heater re-call. All fixed and working in 1.50 Hrs. No sign that the dash had been removed. Hot air at last when starting from cold. Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto with Winter Pack, Stornaway Grey, Ebony, Grey Mirror Caps. Removable towbar with 13 pin Electrics |

I agree, as far as the newest facelift X-Trail design is concerned. The last model, which we drove, however, had some similar proportions like the FL2, just everything a bit smaller or less solid. It was the X-Trail box design, which we enjoyed and made us looking for something similar when changing the car - and we ended up at Landrover ! |

Had my FL2 Heater modified today at Lloyd Landrover Carlisle, they also fixed my High Level Brakelight leak and (as I queried earlier here )found a pinprick hole in the top of my screenwash tank (which explains the dripping after filling) and as it will take 1 to 2 hours, will replace on my 15k service next month.

I'm confused !! Just got a 10month old TD4 SE auto which was first registered on 15/04/08 and built, I think, in December 07. The VIN no starts SALFA23 which seems to be outside of the recall numbers, SALFA27 to SALFA24 (seem to be working backwards here ?) Will my vehicle have one of these heaters?
