Agree with Razman.
Canbus only really required if you want to control something via touchscreen and so a little over the top for just reversing camera. Also tapping into canbus could possibly give lots of problems affecting various othe electronics.

Once its up and running switch live it is.
Gvif is already behind sat nav screen.
Canbus is a lot of waiting to happen.

I have two leds on the gvif.
Red and green.
Only the red is lit.
Not green.

Sorry to hear you're still having problems.
Unfortunately away for a month from Monday so a bit tight on time at the moment.
I'll try and take a look under the drivers seat tomorrow to remind myself of the wiring and get back to you if I can.

That indicates a av signal.
But it seems unstable.

Sorry, rather busy yesterday but sounds like you're getting there.

A few thoughts (and apologies if I'm stating the obvious)

Does the satnav screen go blank ig you engage reverse (with ignition on), if not check the connection/lead you have made between gearbox switch or reverse light to gvif unit connection marked "rear" on bunch of cables/ plug. If the screen is going blank when engaging revers the gvif is obviously switching between video sources.

From your last post sounds Ok but you haven't mentioned that the both the wireless transmitter and receiver have power sources.

Check dip switches again.

If all fails again make a note of the current connections etc the remove everything and lay it out on say a table and follow the cabling through again until it all makes sense. As there are quite a few unused cables and ends tape them up so they are out of the way and not confusing matters.

Use a piggyback fuse connector. I didnt use the glovebox fuse i found an unused switched live in the boot. Simply run across the boot under the rear seat and edge of carpet under the drivers seat. From memory the fuse was for a fridge i think? I used it because a) it was unused so not double loading a in use circuit. B) It had a 10 or 20amp rating. It powers my gvif, apple tv and hdmi2component converter.
