Can't help with any of the technical details but just to say that I've had this happen in the past, both the whole seat forward/back position and the seat back, in fact have the seat back problem again at the moment. I take it into LR and they fix it, I believe by just recalibrating the position sensors, but I don't know how they do it. |

thanks simon I suspected something like that. sounds like an expensive 5 minutes work. tempted to leave it disconnected now I have the seat where I want it I am a bit wary of it happening again at the opposite end of the country and having an uncomfortable drive home
