Transfer Case - BOT 118 PLUS 75W90, 0.75 liters I believe is spec.

Just email the Castrol tech department to be really sure. Idea

I used a Millers Oils product after talking the their boffins on spec. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Land rover say 10 years. Not a good idea.

Not the easiest job to do at home.

As you are not far away in Brum Land try Bell Engineering for this type of work. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

75-90 is what you need. You can suck most of the oil out with a bit of messing, there is no drain plug so no real other option www.bellengineering.co.uk

I tried sucking mine out last week but couldn't even get the smallest tube in the filler to suck any out. Do you have any tips or even better pics to show how to do it? If I even remove the transfer case I will drill and tap for a drain as there is a place in the casing for it to go.

Thanks.

Pete.

Remember in the old days when all you needed was Duckhams 20/50 for any engine and Castrol EP80 for your gearbox or rear diff (and perhaps a bit of Molyslip additive)? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

Millers have a technical email help facility. Very helpful.

They told me to use a different product to that so I suggest you mail them for compatibility. Suggest you tell us what they said. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Pete,

Take a look at this thread

Note: it’s the deep end of the pool, you will need to determine if this is something you want to do

Good luck
