Lucky , That is one super long drive to get up there. Which way did you go? There's no shortcut. |

Judging by the distances involved, the road train tanker may have been Lightwater's 'jerrycan'. |

You have a serious ant problem out there, hope they can't fly. Common sense isn't very common.

So back down to Perth and across the Nullabor? I did a lot of that run back in 2006 in a Subaru Outback. I want to go again now, your pictures are too good. PS I killed a couple of tyres too. |

It is a very long way here between interesting scenery & we were going to go north & return the same way but come down the east coast. But now it will be back across the Nullabor.

I couldn't agree more, there is a hell of a lot of dull boring nothing in between the spectacular bits of scenery in WA. I think the same applies to inland Queensland. I could easily spend a month in a 400km radius of Alice Springs though. Plenty to see and do there. |

We have had 3 punctures, all from screws on our trip. The second 2 we caught early enough because we got TPMS after destroying the first tyre.

We are now heading to Cottesloe Beach, then having a look at Fremantle.
