I watched a chap yesterday leave two dogs in his car while he went shopping, only he left them in the back with the tailgate wide open. They were, I think, attached to the car in some way, but they were both good as gold just sitting there watching the world go by while they waited for him to return. The car was pretty safe too given that they were rottweilers... |

As an aside and as someone that frequently has a dog with me (though never in this weather like this and no chances are ever taken), I’m sorry to report that most insurance companies will not cover a car against theft if you leave any openings for the dog’s welfare. Even if the car is deadlocked and the dog is likely to eat a thief

that was one of the decent features of the FL1, the electric rear window which you could buy a genuine secure guard for so you could leave it open while driving or parked up. Brilliant bit of kit. |
