Tailgate problem

Hi every time I unlock my freelander the fuse blows. Any ideas why this might be please ?

Hi.
As you have titled it "tailgate problem" I presume you are referring to the unlocking of the tailgate in isolation of the other doors via the button on the fob, yes ?

Which fuse blows ? Jules

Hi yes it is fuse J25 which blows every time I unlock the car and then I can't open the boot without replacing the fuse .

Hi all sorted now. Husband took apart and disconnected fuel solenoid so tailgate now opening and fuse not blowing 😀

Don't you need the fuel solenoid? Common sense isn't very common.
