The black plastic battery cover is there a special way of getting it to click in place ? for the life of me I can’t get it to seat properly or is it just a Censored design Whistle

Make sure it's properly seated at the front before pressing down at the back. ----------

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

I was struggling with mine, could not get the clips to engage. Now I get the cover level with the plastic trim at the back and give a sharp hit with the palm of my hand to the front of the cover and it clicks in. Worth a try, can't promise success but worked for me.
