Hi all, collected our new Freelander 2 yesterday - well, the other half’s motor (but secretly my toy). Orkney Grey, 2013 HSE SD4 Auto. The WAG has already named her Percy So Percy has roof rails, tow bar already fitted, i have cross bars but need to acquire the right tool to fit. Any other auggested bits to add? Ive got heko wond deflectors and and boot tray coming as we have two collies who will ride in the boot.

I/we bought similar on 63 plate late last year. Jointly funded but Significant Other has yet to drive it. Used as my daily drive as have been all our previous cars - SO only interested in driving in an emergency

best colour and best spec great car, you will love it

the colour and spec really suit black bonnet and boot lettering, and black side vents with smoked indicators.

maybe a dog guard as well (LR genuine which are expensive or Travall half height which are about £100 but brilliant quality etc)

also maybe a boot liner to protect the seat backs and boot sides from mud and dog hair.

Awesome thanks RogB! Yeh im looking at either Travall or Guardsman dog guard (had Guardsman on the Qashqai). Ive ordered a rubber boot tray but maybe i will order a full liner too and sit the tray over the top.

Sidthecat - my SO has taken to it quite well. She had her first 'ghost clutch' incident yesterday, where she went to put her foot on the clutch and hit the break instead - we almost went through the windscreen At least the breaks work
