Thanks for this, do you think its as simple as just cutting the connector off and wiring up the old connector to it? Only 2 wires? Does it even matter if you spliced one wire into a different one? |

It is just a case of cutting the Ford connector off and soldering & heatshrinking the LR back on. It is just 2 black wires and polarity is not an issue as they are not earthed.

Its not a Land Rover part, 1830769 is listed as a heated washer jet for a Ford Transit Connect 2013 to 2015. You might have to order it from your local Ford dealers. Ford list it as part number 1-830-769 but part numbers are continually being updated so that part number might well superceed onto a newer number. |

RazMan, well done for taking the leap Seems so much better than the jets when I had the DS for the day. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

They don't looked heated but then again you will not need them if it's so hot down there If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Evening guys, bought two Ford 1 906 529 heated washer jets and fitted today, soldered the Lr electrical connectors onto new washers. All works well - except the spray goes up over the roof with only a little water hitting the windscreen, does anyone know if these can be adjusted? I tried poking around with a small pin but didn't force anything for fear of breaking them.
