I saw my first Velar today. I have to say the Velar and the Range Rover Sport are definitely the nicest looking cars LR make. The shape and proportions are spot on.

My one never gave me any issues, I’ll give it that. It just wasn’t the car for me. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Recently drove the DS to Budapest and back. I must say it was a very pleasant experience and definitely a step up from the two FL2s I owned. The car felt more stable at Autobahn speeds and was a nice relaxing cruiser. Only complaint is the tiny fuel tank - stopping to refuel more often than the FL2.

Got to agree the DS is a stiffer ride than the FL2, which is better at speed.

God it must be small because I find the freelander s tank disappointing range after my discovery, less painful each fill though! Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I need to drive like a granny to get my Velar over the 400 miles. Usually it’s about 370. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

That is really poor, freelander about 420, I was used to 520 in the disco and over 600 in a vw tdi before that. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Despite the larger tank I got 400 miles at the most out of the FL2 normally 370, the DS is more like 330 before it starts to nag. Granted there is probably 70 miles left in the DS when it starts to nag, but I am susceptible to nagging. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
