Lift kit FL2

This guy has been making stuff for the FL1 for some time now and has just bought himself an FL2 and is doing some R&D.
He has just produced the prototype lift kit and it reads fairly well.

The Muddy Mods R&D Dept. Has been busy for the last few days. This is the first prototype steel lift kit for the Freelander 2. It has a degree of camber correction designed into it. There is no need to disassemble the struts to fit it or elongate the holes in the front wings. I plan to fit it either over the weekend or early next week. I’ll be taking before and after measurements and pictures plus making various tests of CV running angles at full droop etc. Wheels and tyres to suit are being sorted for fitment next week. Keep checking back as this is the first of many new FL2/LR2 products to come from MuddyMods.

He has a Facebook page and I think a website too. REME .. Rough Engineering Made Easy

I'm quite excited at the prospect of them getting into FL2. They seem to have developed some solid stuff for the Hippo.

As per a previous post though, I would still be nervous of lifting an FL2 30mm but at least they seem to be doing their home work.

I like the look of their exhaust as the back box seems a lot more compact than the OEM.

The Muddy Mods demonstrator is going to Billing on Friday for its first public outing. No pictures are being released until then. It’ll be on the Freelander Owners Club stand all weekend.

After getting too excited I caved and posted pictures. Lifted and booted among other things.
