I fitted new day light lights to my 2011 Freelander everything was okay had it wired by an auto electrician, but on the last test because it is linked into the indicators when I use my hazard lights the daylight lights flash as well. which was an advisory on my MOT but I wonder if it will pass next time with all the changes. I am not sure but it was a reputable electrician (East Lanc's Auto electrics), they replaced my existing fog lights with these dual Fog and Daylight LED lamps. The lamps have there own control box to work with the indicators so it illuminates the road when turning right or left. Freelander 2 TD4 GS 2011 Manual Satorini Black (Current)

Just had my car tested this morning and passed no problem. The garage I use is an LR specialist but I asked about the headlight washers. The answer was that if you turn the headlights on then off then the washers usually operate the next time the windscreen washers are used. This apparently is the same for most makes of cars. I asked if more cars are failing under the new MOT rules the answer was yes. The first car the guy had tested under the new rules failed for a crack in a CV boot, under the old rules as the crack wasn't letting dirt in or oil out it would have been an advisory.
