I notice they don't mention price in the article... the all electric E Type driven by the ginger Prince at his wedding was reputed to have cost around £350k so that kind of prohibits it from 99% of the general public.

I drove an Ampera for a couple of weeks a few years ago and really enjoyed it, especially under electric power only. It even sounded okay, not like a milk float at all.

nope - still a little bit over my budget

I am however looking forward to a red letter track day in July that was a Xmas present from my son... driving the McLaren MP4 (if I can fit in it) and because I wanted to try an electric car im also driving the BMW i8. Can wait to see what the power delivery feels like on Elvington Airfield

haha id be happy to sit and watch that after ive done my laps in the cars... Elvington was the proposed main dumping ground for Vulcan bombers after they returned from dropping Nuclear bombs on Russia in the cold war as they would be highly radioactive.

I had an Ampera for a couple of months and to me it was not a nice thing....my opinion

On the other hand....a Torqedo electric motor in a boat is much better...............
