Where Do You Put Loose Change?

From what I've been reading, the only enclosed storage area is the glove compartment. I had a brief sit in an LR2 last week, but I don't remember seeing a change holder. Is there at least an ashtray in a convenient location that non-smokers can use for loose change?

Thanks!

Re: Where Do You Put Loose Change?

Morning mattnrsa,

I keep my loose change in the glove box. There is no other concealed place to store unless you bag the change and place it in the door box's. Plenty of open space for water bottles, mobile phones etc but nothing out of sight.

The brouchures have some good internal pics so you can see the layout.

Hope this helps

Have a nice day!

Loose change- Would have been better with cover over area between seats, only other place is glove department or in doors

I put mine in the ashtrays (which sit in the middle beside the handbrake and can be taken off).

The ashtray is not standard, It comes as part of the 'smokers pack' which is a no cost option in the UK, so it's worth asking for this even if you are not a smoker

defkalion, You have got an ashtray? You'll be teling me you have a cigarette lighter next.
I don't think we get these on the British spec. I haven't got them on my TD4 SE model. Has anyone else?
Good job I'm a non smoker.

I asked my dealer about the Smokers Pack which I assume consists of Ash tray and Cig lighter. The book quotes this as a No Cost Option (NCO) I asked the dealer for it within 1 mth of purchase and was advised it was only available at time of order!. I have challened this and await a reply.

I too am a non smoker but when something is going for free. then I want it!

Be interested to see if anyone has had any luck getting the smokers pack post purchase

I got mine post-purchase free of cost.
After reading a post here, I requested my dealer for the ashtray a week after delivery. The dealer fit it for me with no questions asked. I am really happy with my dealer (Lloyd Land Rover Carlisle). Fixed minor problems like hand-brake and trim and paint blemishes promptly and perfectly. Was even willing to replace the fake wood trim on the dash with the metallic one from a 'donor vehicle'!!

Got my loose change in a small black drawstring bag I keep in the back of the center console- near the AUX in port.
