I left Esure a year ago as a company called 'quotemehappy' were cheaper by £20. Whistle

Just got the renewal last week of £303, not too bad.

Did the usual annual comparison check, back to Esure again . . . Idea

Happy with their quote for me of £224 ! . . . Bow down Bow down 2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -

Just got my renewal from Direct line, £20.00 cheaper and you no longer have NCB cut if you hit or are hit by an animal, hit or hit by debris in the road, damage due to potholes and something else I can't remember. Common sense isn't very common.

Sadly for me, the “no loss of NCD if you are hit be a wild animal” seems to only apply for claims after April 18th rather than renewals after April 18th, suggesting that my January incident will still result in a loss of discount. Probably worth haggling over at renewal in August! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

I stayed with LV last year (first time I’ve ever done that) as their renewal price was better than I could get anywhere plus, with an Evoque, the panoramic roof is covered on the glass side of the policy unlike many others who cover it only under bodywork and the associated higher excesses and loss of ncb if not protected.

Funnily enough I’ve just renewed my house policy with LV for the third year running as that only went up from £199 to £205 (direct line wanted £355). You do get better prices from LV if you have more than one policy with them. Will be going with them for our annual travel policy this year too as their prices are very competitive. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

When comparing quotes a low excess charge is high on my list of wants from an insurance. I see that companies are increasing this charge but not lowering their quotes to coincide.

Wifes renewal has dropped with Direct Line by quite a lot this year so will stick with them. Nothing changed re claims history etc. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Just wondering has the excess increased?

No, I made a point of checking that. Will do a double check but it all seems kosher. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
