Went to see Jaguar I-Pace last weekend. Technology looks pretty impressive; price less so!!! How long till we see a serious electric version of any Land Rover model?

Come to that, will JLR ever produce a Land Rover for less than £30k starting price again? Life is not a dress rehearsal!

Strictly speaking, they currently start at £28,400, so we are there now. However, will we see the likes of a useful range of the likes of the Freelander 2, starting in the low to mid 20’s? Not a hope!

2020, a bit late IMO but

JLR have said they will produce smaller cheaper models to appeal to younger buyers in the hope it encourages them to move onto bigger and more expensive models as their families grow.

As for the I-pace, it looks nice but not practical for me, also the infrastructure is still not there yet. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
