England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Yes, but the noise was connected to the whole ventilation system. The louder noise was from the AC (ie if I switched it off the noise reduced considerably), then if I turned the ventilation system off then all was quiet.

I can assure you that I have tried very hard to hear the noise again but it appears to have disappeared! Happy days Smile 2010MY 2.2 e4 (gone but, not forgotten)

Throttle Body, do a search as many previous failures and ideas about replacement. Did mine a few months ago as I had heard the odd rattle on switching off.

Typically available like this:

If you do it yourself (not too bad) look for a rubber bung to switch over from old to new as I at first did not notice it.

I assume the same part goes into the SD4, yes ? Jules
