Fair cost of services

I know some threads already exists on this topic, but I want to share my ideas about fairness.

To me:

it's fair to be provided with a list of controls and jobs that will be carried out
it's fair to know that some jobs are "just recommended" (e.g. engine flush, wiper replacement... ) and to be asked whether I want those optional jobs to be carried out or not
it's fair to be told that the quality of oil recommended by LR is very low and to pay low quality oil in accordance
it's fair to be given the possibility of using my preferred oil
it's fair to be charged for the actual (vs. nominal) time spent working on my car
it's fair to be charged for other services (e.g. courtesy car)
it's fair to be charged accordingly to the skill necessary to do a job (e.g. labour cost for standard service should be less than labour cost for specialized service)
If an LR official dealer agrees on those ideas I'll be glad to have may car serviced by them, otherwise I'll go to an independent for a service

Any comment will be appreciated.

The LR official dealer in my town charged a friend of mine 436 euro for the first service (standard service).
An independent charged me 175 euro for the same service

Thank you Bjartin for prividing a list of operations to be done at the first service: I had that list signed.
