A proper family owned business . Nice that it is still in private hands and has not fallen into the clutches of one of the chemical stirrers who sell “ Brands” . The Dark Mild looks interesting a good session brew perhaps

but can't see it in the shop.

Used to brew my own in what seems another lifetime now.

Boots used to do a special bitter kit. I got a taste for it then they stopped selling home brew, never did find out who made it.

Would like to see what you would say if you had been chatting to another well known brewery owner from Yorkshire. Tales around of this multi millionaire using charity shops and running cars on bald tyres and I guess it would be you paying for any dinner. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

From memory of the floods, the council criticised Sam's Smith over not allowing a bridge to be built on his land. The outcome of this was that the council then built the bridge on council land that was just a few meters from the Sam Smith's brewery site.
