My son once worked for BP on an oil installation, the sort of place with lots of pipes and tanks and things. They had a big problem and eventually got a guy out of retirement who had designed part of it to come and have a look. He wandered around for a few hours and then put a big chalk mark on a large valve and told them to change it. He subsequently sent in an invoice for £50k. When challenged as to why a few hours work was worth that much he wrote back. " 10 pence for the chalk and £49,999.90 for knowing which valve to use it on ". 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

if nobody else could do it then fair play to him, they should have agreed a price first. Common sense isn't very common.

I fitted a Landrover tow bar and electrics to our car a 2010 model. The car had to have its ECU programmed to tell it a tow bar was fitted. Before that nothing worked. As others have said, if you take the wiring off, I guess you have to change the program back.
