Sunroof, faulty or normal?

Hey all, opened up the sunroof today and im sure it used to open further? Can you confirm if its not going back fully or my memory's failing me and its working correctly lol.

That's as far back as mine goes. However, I have a a different problem. When I close mine, unless I let the button go at a specific point, the sunroof opens again a fraction. It can take a while to get it closed properly as you have to judge it exactly.

Thanks guys. Made me second guess myself only opening 2/3 of the opening. Love my fl2 but defo gonna miss my sports coupe this year when the weathers like this 😎 hmmm maybe its a nice day to buy a CL500 🧐 lol

My Sunroof opens and closes fully with a single quick push of the button. To part open it you just press the button a second time to interrupt the opening cycle.
The tilt mechanism is similar, but I need to keep close button pushed until it stops on its own, perfectly shut.

The fully open sunroof is only as far as shown in pictures in first post. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Uhg so frustrating. An entire glass roof just to open two thirds over what's already a small opening... such lazy engineering.
