Gyeon Products - pic heavy

Just wanted to let you know about some products I've been using for a while now on my FL.

They are the Gyeon range of snow foam, Bathe (Wash) and wetcoat (a last stage product) that work amazingly well.

They are my 'lazy' way of cleaning a car and also massively reduce the need to actually 'touch' the car. In fact in the series of photos below, I only touched the car twice.

The car was given a quick blast with TFR about a week ago and has basically no wax/protection on it as you'll see from the rinsing stage...

So to start, I used the Gyeon snowfoam and used Bilt Hamber Korrosol on the wheels.

It was left to dwell for about 5 nmins, then rinsed off you may be able to see how the water is clinging to the panels in sheets...

Next was the Gyeon Bathe (wash stage). This was the first time I actually touched the car.

Again this was rinsed off. It was then onto the wetcoat that you spray onto one panel at a time (a very small amount) and use the wash mitt to spread it around. This was the second time I touched the car physically
It's very important not to let it dry or stay too long on each panel so the process was

Spray
Spread
Wait 1 minute
Rinse
Onto next panel.

So these products all compliment each other and you end up with lovely beading (compared to before when the water was sheeting down the bodywork).

I then used a leafblower to dry off the car, yeah I know you may get some daft looks, but the water just beads up and rolls off so no need to touch the car again with a microfibre !

And it ended up like this. I reckon it took me no more than 40 mins from start to finish and now have about 3 months or so of protection.

If you're in the market for new cleaning products, please give Gyeon a try, for ease versus results I don't think you could beat this !

looks marvellous, I am a simple man, just use a back log of either showroom shine or williams, both similar to me waterless cleaner spray on then buff it etc . .

I am impressed with your reg though, whats it like having the same initials as Jesus Christ ?

I have a reasonably price Nilfisk pressure washer, do you use a dedicated foam nozzle spray ?

Dedicated foam lances are loads better, the nilfisk one above is like spraying foamy water where as the other in the link is like covering in shaving foam

Personally think snowfoaming is over rated, leaving magifoam to dwell for 10 minutes takes off larger particle but jet washing off takes them off too, without the 10 mins dwelling.

I still do it, but when this 5L bottle is finished i’ll Continue with a coat of citrus pre wash as results are same, without the look at me and my foam wait Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

looks good, I have a Nilfisk pressure washer, the photo I showed was a Karcher 'foamer' randomly picked off the net, I fancy one of this type, believe I need an adaptor as well

Been using Gyeon for a while, I use Bathe+ and Cure. Results are pretty impressive, though I have been using a few Auto Finesse products lately.

I need to get a new jet washer, thinking of the Karcher K2. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Yep and I have a driveaway. Overrated pastime cleaning with so many stages. I simply use a wash and wax mixture and finish with a chamy leather. Knock of the tar twice a year with a good polish. Its a only a car FFS and I have better things to do with my time:

2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

Being a white car I rarely need to wash it. The last time I did it, it was the 3 bucket method due to the levels of dirt! An extra bucket in the chain works well.

Now I can use a compressor to blow dust out, works well getting it out of all the cracks! But do need to run engine due to the 100 amp load! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
