I'll do mine at 10000, others would say less. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

It is a bit of common sense, if you have been driving the car hard, towing or lots of very short trips, change it sooner. If lots of low stress long mileage & you don't have a lead foot, not passing road trains with 4 or more trailers on dirt highways (in Australia) & you have not being using the low end crap fuel, a few extra thousand miles is not going to hurt.

The service sheet as issued by Land Rover covers more than one Market area so for Russia it’s correct at what you quoted. The only Blondes are the ones that would leave it to 15,000 miles so ignore that figure. Oil costs all compared to an engine, so 10,000 miles max and the correct grade. Mine gets a Land Rover filter at least once a year and goes maybe 6 to 7 K between oil changes. Matfords on eBay do a genuine service kit for under £60 all in but I won’t use the fuel filter too early as it’s a prat to do so l stick to the service sheet on that. I suspect many garages on a B service miss it off as we see too many on here cure problems by doing a filter change. Edit: My last Millers XF Longlife C1 5w30 oil came from a company called Get OffRoad - 10lts delivered £41.64 FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current Last edited by Yorky Bob on 13th Apr 2018 7:50 am. On my Evoque (and my FL2 when I had it) I average 8-10,000 miles per year. The oil and filter gets changed once per year with a mid-term oil only change. I have a vacuum oil extractor so when changing just the oil there’s no need to jack up, put on stands and remove the dirt shield, it takes less than ten minutes. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

With a DPF it needs to be a C1 oil so I use Millers XF Longlife C1 5w30.

Good and thanks Steve as one is winging its way up North as of now. Getting too old to be on my back for each oil change especially in this years weather. Will still need to change the filter once a year though. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I for one was happy with the 15,000 miles between oil changes, at 25-30,000 miles a year it was often enough.
