I collected 12v switched from the rear plug, opening the console rear the hand brake and inserting a new cable till the dashboard.

On my car, the boot, and rear 12v sockets are permenant, only the front 12v socket is switched. I have feeds coming off the wiring underneath the centre console just behind the gearstick feeding both my Tomtom and my Pure DAB radio. Seemed to be the easiest place to get a switched feed that wouldn't interfere with anything else. 09MY FL2 Td4 XS, Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Martinique Blue.. oh so very blue.. |

Thanks Npinks, Aroggati and Frobius, That's lots of help to get me started. I'd already worked out a route from the central console in case I needed it. I'll post here if I find anything useful to others. |
