I AM NEW TO THIS SITE.. NOT SURE WHERE TO PLACE THIS INFO.. BUT HERE GOES

WATER IN THE FOOTWELL .... CARS WITH SUNROOF SUNROOF DRAIN PIPE COMES ADRIFT

AFTER RINGING 3 MAIN DEALERS NOT ONE COULD SAY WHERE THE DRAIN PIPE CONNECTION WAS FOR THE SUNROOF

2 GUESSED WRONGLY 1 DID NOT KNOW FOUND BY POURING WATER AND OBSERVING

THE PIPE CONNECTS TO THE HARD PLASTIC DRAIN PIPE AT THE B POST THEN RUNS TO THE REAR PANEL THEN DOWN ALONG THE BOTTOM PANEL BELOW THE DOORS AND OUT AT THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH JUST BEHIND THE MUD FLAPS IF FITTED

SORTED BY
1. REMOVING SEAT BELT ANCHORAGE ON B POST ..EASY
2. PULLING INTERIOR B POST PLASTIC PANEL AWAY FROM B POST....... DO NOT DAMAGE THE SIDE AIR BAG ... EASY
3. THEN LEVER/ PULL DOWN THE ROOF PANEL WITH FINGERS AT THE B POST.... EASY
4. YOU WILL THEN SEE IN THE GAP THE SHORT 25MM FIXED PIPE TO THE SUNROOF DRAIN CHANNEL.....THE FLEXIBLE PLASTIC DRAIN PIPE HAS A BAD HABIT OF COMING AWAY AND CAN BE FOUND USUALLY NEXT THE HARD CONNECTION.
5. SMEAR THE HARD PIPE WITH A GOOD GLUE ... I USED EVO-STIK ... THEN PUSH PIPE BACK IN PLACE...

A good tip is to have a mate to help keep the roof panel down while applying the glue and fixing the pipe connection as lots of spring in the panel

I am also new to the forum, don't have the problem yet, but than ks for posting.
