No idea, sorry, with that and the other grief I sold the car, and like a complete idiot bought a Discovery Sport, that is just a year old now and has been returned to the dealer 13 time for warranty repair!

Oh dear.. My FL2 has been fine so far (except for brake light water leak). Don't think the clutch pedal thing is too much unless it gets worse. Can't see much down there. 45000 miles so hope linkages (if any) aren't worn. It does spring back sometimes at the top of travel . Only noticed it over last few weeks. No more JLR for you then |

Wouldn't be too bothered about a squeak.....its when it gets notchy and not smooth |

Yes mine was the same when I bought it, took me ages to track what was causing the click and rubbing, checked the spring, removed the pivot points and finally found what it is. It’s the plastic clutch pivot point, it goes dry and rubs plastic against plastic.

Thanks for this. Removing airbag panels sounds too tricky for my ability.. I've tried spraying so might take i6 to garage when it gets a bit worse |

Local Indy fixed it today. They'd never seen it before, but a part at the top of the pedal had been wearing on some plate / stud or other .where it goes through the bulkhead . The metal plate had metal chafed off it so it's been doing it for ages. Just noticed it recently. Pedal was moved along a bit so it clears it now |

Parkside Garage - bottom of Somerset rd in aspley almost behind lidl. Good do. Also got my power steering fluid flushed and changed seeing as it was original stuff and nearly 5 years old |
