United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Fuji White

Your car will quickly learn where the TPMS valves have moved to, I have experienced no warnings or problems when swapping wheels around. Your tyres should work in either direction.

Locations of jacking points are in your handbook. On the side sills you will see ā€œVā€ marks within 6ā€ or so of each wheel arch. They indicate the locations of the jacking points just inboard of the sill. NB: If you have LR style side steps you will need to remove them first before jacking.

Car has factory fitted side-steps.

Is it not possible to jack it with a trolley jack without removing them?

If you look at the document link I posted above, you will see that there are centre jacking points for trolley jacks (labelled 3 in the diagrams). You can use those without affecting the side steps. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Regarding side steps removal for jacking. They are retained by 3 bolts each side, same size as the wheel bolts (21mm). A doddle to remove if you are caught out with a puncture.
