I just filled my windscreen wash with gunk!

5 litres of engine cleaner to the brim before I realised I'd picked up the wrong container.

I disconnected the hose from the T piece at the bonnet and pumped it all back out into the container, then flushed it through with a full 5l of water (remembering rear washer as well) before filling.

If you're doing this remember to semi-close the bonnet and fold wiper the arms away from the screen. Or, better still, don't do it at all! Rolling Eyes

A friend of mines wife did a similar thing. She filled the ride-on-mower with paraffin, because it was in a green plastic container, not knowing 'that' container was for his Ferggie tractor.

Woman where my wife worked decided to top up the coolant water on her brand new Beamer. She used the engine oil filler, oh dear. Shocked FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I've know someone top up the brake fluid reservoir with water on an air cooled VW camper thinking it was the expansion tank for the radiator it never had. Freelander 2 HSE TD4 2007
