First Freelander 2

Hi all,
Just bought a 57 plate FL2 to replace the family Qashqai. Train from Newcastle to Doncaster & an enjoyable 2hr drive home. I’ll be looking to fit some wider & taller tyres, roof bars/basket & wondered if they’re any mods worth doing. EGR blanking etc? Cannanyone recommend a reversing camera with screen to fit? This car will be my daily driver, shooting bus & will tow a horse trailer once we start our catering business. Any advice appreciated & I’ll start reading through the forum. Thanks

156k mate. Timing belt/water pump, clutch/flywheel all done within the last 10k with recipts to prove. The Nissan had to have the DPF deleted & was very ‘plasticy/cheap’ to drive. This feels better than my Audi A6 I had. Lovely car to drive.

Good job you got rid of that nissan before the new DPF rules come in to play.

Theres going to be a lot of cars fit for junk the next time they go for an MOT, maybe its the gooberments way of helping the car industry while pretending to make us all safer.

Side steps and new wheels will make a huge difference to the looks.

Wouldnt bother with the side steps unless you are vertically challenged.
Welcome, enjoy the motor Thumbs Up

I have no comprehension of what this pizza craze is all about, but I would never pay more than £1.69 for a pizza (Iceland). Whistle

Its really just bread with a little topping, I guess the profit margin must be the big attraction as it must be huge, a lad in South Shields gave up running a pub to do the very same thing, which suggests to me large profits. Idea

Anything costing around £7- £10 for me has to be an indian takeaway Thumbs Up no contest. . . Mr. Green 2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -
