Got a Suzuki Celerio auto 16 plate earlier this year with 853 miles, cat c, lovely car to drive round town very good mpg, standard with AC, 4 x electric windows, dab radio, more than enough room for 4 adults, tax free, not a patch on a f2 but horses for courses it's a great little car. Common sense isn't very common.

A few years back on a works trip to Dallas , I rented a Kia Soul automatic . I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I actually found it quite a funky thing . It was easy and pleasant to drive . The big plus was it’s shape which made quite a spacious little van sort of thing with the rear seats folded. The other rental I really enjoyed was in Madeira where we had a Smart car. Automatic with a flappy paddle box , cracking little thing . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

She decided that the Picanto is too small so that's progress. No sign of a LandRover supermini in the pipeline I suppose? She did fancy a Fiat Panda 4x4 once having seen so many in the Alps and Pyrenees. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto 5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE |

my past experience of small automatics is limited but IMO the smaller engines just don't work with an auto box

My other half has driven a mii Cooper S Clubman auto for years and is simply joined to it at the hip - she'll have no talk of changing it and why would she; small, nippy, practical and a shed load of fun oh and pretty quick when it needs to be. F2 3.2 i6 for the white stuff

We had the i20 in Majorca, excellent wee car. SWMBO has had a Kia Soul for while now over here and loves it. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
