Finally found a Freelander a couple of weeks ago that ticked all my boxes and have been driving it now CONSTANTLY for the last 10 days. Couldn't stop smiling at the thought of actually having bought a Land Rover. 2014 plate HSE with just over 18000 miles, one owner and a full service history.

Farnell Land Rover in Nelson could not have been more pleasant or easy to deal with given that communication was mainly telephone and email. Luckily for me it had just arrived at the dealers the day before being advertised and a flight was booked the following day along with the ferry back to Belfast.

Couldn't be more chuffed. The best part was driving the first 220 miles back to Cairnryan.... with a constant smile...

I have appreciated all sound advice in helping me sort out what direction to take to narrow down my options.
