Not yet, I 'only' need the tailgate harness, but so far I've struggled to get this from Duckworths, and Dan is now out for a week.

I did confirm that my car is pre wired for the camera so there isn't much wiring to do.

Thanks - looking forward to the updates as i'm wanting to do this with my Dynamic which has the sat-nav screen.
Do all 13my> models have the wiring in place?

Then I would logically assume that the wiring in the headliner is there as it all part of the telematics harness to the roof dome GPS. MY15

I too have a need for the reversing camera on my 2013my HSE. So can I add my encouragement to this post. I have looked for the camera fitting marks on my boot lid but cannot see any. Do I have to remove the handle to see them?.

The LR rear camera takes the place of one of the number plate lamps. The difficulty in fitting it all is getting the wiring into the rear door (it needs an extra loom) and having the CCF altered. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

On a 13MY car, the camera should be in an extra hole and not a replacement of the number plate light.

The first post in this topic shows where LR have kindly inscribed what needs to be cut out in the plastic.

The loom is not too expensive, although changing it really needs the roof lining dropping. My real problem is figuring out which of the 5 harnesses is the right one. Pretty sure I know which is right for my pre-wired car now, but i'm very much out of money!

Hi,

I fitted a replacement number plate camera and wired it directly to a screen which clips over the rear view mirror. This works very well and saved me having to replac wiring looms etc. I have since then added a second feed to the screen from a wireless receiver in the car boot. This is connected to a wireless camer on the back of my caravan and used as a rear view mirror when towing. Again works very well and give a good rear view.

Dave, where did you get that if you don't mind me asking, sounds like a good fix for little to no messing around

Hi Markflickr,

The car camera came from Amazon and the screen came from ParkingcamerasUK but similar can also be found on the net. I am away from home at the moment but can lookup exact details when home, if you wish.

That cabling between screen and camera was simply run in the headlining by taking the interior lights out and threading a stiff piece of wire between. The wire was passed into the rear door through the existing grommet and then down the side of the rear window and through existing grommet to rear number plate housing. Rear number plate housing had to be removed to allow this. I also picked up a reversing light supply in the boot to allow the screen to come on automatically when reverse selected.

Can take some photos if you wish.

Dave
