10 days ago drove about70 miles through some horrendous rain on the way home from the football, the car misfired/stuttered a few times when accelerating. Next day had a 25 mile trip to do and car drove fine until out on the motorway, got up to 60-65 then when trying to accelerate a little to overtake....no power |

That's what you get from hitting deep pudles too fast. Normal driving in rain won't do that.

Wasn't driving too fast. The rain was torrential for about 40 miles then slightly less torrential for the rest of the journey.
