Hi guys , I knew this time would come , I have blue jean dye on a a wee bit of a front seat. I've been using the stuff supplied by LR , it seems to clean the seats ok but it's not shifting the dye. According to auto express Dodo Juice's Supernatural Leather Cleaner is the best this year , do you guys know of something better or are auto express right ?

I have always use Gliptone products on leather, if the dye has got into the seat then you need to get it out quickly if not too late already, leather is a skin, its porous and the dye will move further and further into the material the longer it is on.

I've got the Gtechniq leather guard but haven't applied it yet. Every couple of days I go over the seats with meguires leather wipes. It just keeps on top dirt and grime. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Autoglym Leather Cleaner, followed by a coat of Leather Balm if you have Windsor leather - no point if you don't, as its designed to keep the leather supple and soft. Foraging near Gaydon....

Had the same problem on my Jag which had beige vented leather seats - Gliptones is the stuff for me - use their cleaner and then finisher brings it up like new and restores that great "new leather" smell too. No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Resurrecting an old thread. What I’m finding odd lately is that old denim that I’ve washed a dozen times is marking my seat. I think maybe when LR dye the leather and seal it with a clear coat that the sealer on my seat has started to wear away? Has anyone else noticed anything similar with older denim?

I had this problem on the drivers seat on my XKR. No amount of cleaning with premium products helped. The stain reduced but was always there.

Appreciate all the advice on cleaning them, I’m aware of cleaning process and it’s cleaned up fine. It just that my leather seat base seems to be absorbing the denim dye lately. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
