Whilst I am obviously keen to see LR not be in schtook don't forget that when you ask Brown to give the company a bailout, ultimately the money comes from taxpayers.
Also it's fine for the car manufacturers to start bleating as soon as things get tough, where were they when they were doing well and coining it in? Certainly not helping me out when I wanted a few quid off buying a new one!

A lot of businesses will be in trouble in the next year or two as we have already seen with various major firms going under.

I say give some bail out cash to LR but then TATA have to give something back as and when (or maybe if) things recover enough......

Judging by the improvements made since the launch of the first FL2's to the model I have, LR were investing some of the "good times" profits in rectifying the early mistakes.

I shudder when I read some of the problems experienced by 56/07 and even some 57 reg. owners. Perhaps I have been lucky but apart from the PTC, my May 08 model hasn't seen a fraction of any of the troubles of others.
