I have read your inputs several times and you do not seem to give (exact) vehicle age or mileage.

This is important in the answers as in as far as I can see Official LR Extended Warranties have cut off points of 10 years and 100,000 miles, as shown in the links above.

Have you exceeded these limits? FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Just found the extended warranty they offered me. As said above it does list oil leaks. It also refers to full terms and conditions which can be obtained from LR dealers or LR approved warranty admin.

A leak is a leak but may still be denied if it's not leaking enough. Hippo's videos - Honorary Tratterer

The vehicle should have been under 10 years old at the warranty termination, that is OK if not it was miss sold as the warranty must cover the vehicle for the period of the contract as implied, ie 1 or 2 years same goes for mileage based on 12,000miles/ year my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.

The Extended Warranty covers vehicles up to ten years and 100,000 miles at the time of policy purchase with an unlimited claim liability up to the purchase price of the vehicle in the aggregate. Covers for consequential failure. Unlimited mileage cover. MOT insurance This is the one I have

The Select Extended Warranty for vehicles of any age up to 100,000 miles with £3000 individual claim limit including VAT, up to the purchase price of the vehicle in the aggregate. Up to 25,000 miles per annum from mileage at purchase of the policy. MOT insurance.

I spoke to someone from the Warranty company today and I am getting mixed messages, as they had only been told of the differential leaks. I was told if it is just misting it would not be covered but anything more would be, so I will be going into the dealer tomorrow to find out what is going on and why they have made no mention of the other leaks identified on the VHC . Remember there are never problems, just new challenges
