The car was sold with a 30 day warranty.

It went wrong on day 10.

I have agreed with the garage that the warranty will be extended for the balance of 20 days from when I pick it up.

Yes, you have up to six months to reject a car, but the longer it is left, the harder it is to make stick for obvious reasons.

I'll reserve my rights on collection by reference to statute.

Very smooth gear change
No clanking/slapping noise
Steering wheel is straight

Fingers crossed it continues!

Garage said they have never before had to change a FL2 gearbox - very rare occurrence.

Just hope this sad episode is behind me
