Windshield fluid leaking onto pedals when activating wipers

Hello all. I just purchased a 2014 Freelander 2 recently and I’ve just noticed that when I use the rear windscreen wipers, I get a sudden spray of fluid over my shoes whilst I drive. I’m assuming there must be a leak in the pipe that connects the bottle to the rear wind shield. Has anyone had any experience with fixing this? I’ve taken the plunge on one of these and not off to a good start it seems!

Thanks guys

You have the 'Wellie Boot Washer' feature.

I was designed for those who wear Hunter Wellies, the country set.
Wasn't sure it was an option offered to AUS.

Callout 17408A looks like the part you’ll need to replace which terminates at the top of the A-Pilar cover and goes behind the dash through the bulkhead on drivers side to plenum chamber. Thumbs Up MY15

find the hole and put a joiner in it, a washer non return valve would make an easy joiner
