Recent service spotted a sump pan oil leak ,three months later due to parts car has gone in and the work is being done under warranty .So fixing this it was discovered the gear box seal is leaking , rear main oil seal leaking , upper bed plate seal leaking and finally oil fed pipe to the turbo charger leaking, Are any of these parts covered under warranty. The freelander2 is Oct 2011 bought it 22 months ago came with a 2 hear warranty |

Ask the warranty provider, non of us are party to your arrangement with them or what promises have been made as you don’t even say if it’s a an approved LR warranty.

Marc, which engine do you have? The OP was an i6 Petrol. For future users doing a search, it would be helpful to know whether your list of oil seals was also i6, or if it was TD4 or SD4.

A genuine approved warranty is for 2 years I understand so throw it back at 22 months to another dealer if the current dealers are so slack to not get it corrected to be corrected. A leak is a leak and 2 years warranty is 2 years not a day less FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |
