Need to fit a sensor to the windscreen

I have a tag for the charge on the Dartford Crossing which needs to be stuck to the inside of the screen - it's suggested it goes on the dark shaded area behind the rear view mirror; I believe the rain sensor is in that area and assume that it won't affect its operation?

I have my M6 Toll tag there, doesn't appear to affect anything.

Dart tags are not used anymore. they use number plate recognition now.

Had one which was left on my old car when I sold it last October. Informed Dartford people of the new vehicle registration, balance on my account was transferred across and new tag since received. Why, if tag system has been scrapped?

Our new Mersey Gateway bridge is tolled using NPR and tags, I think its so the tags can't be passed around.

The dark section of the windscreen around the mirror, if I remember correctly, is supposed to be coated differently which allows the tags to work better.

Dart Tag is still in use, had a new one come this week. APNR is ok but takes up to 48 hours to appear on your account, Dart Tag it appears instantly.
For piece of mind the Tag beeps as you go through so you know you’ve paid. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
